Ubisoft Reveals Player Statistics For ‘Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ For The First Year Since Its Release

Ubisoft is celebrating the first anniversary of the release of the action game Assassin’s Creed Shadows. To mark the occasion, the developers shared a fascinating infographic showcasing the community’s achievements over the past year. Users have collectively spent an impressive 334,384,499 hours in virtual Japan.

During this time, gamers have achieved over 4,007,363,535 kills across various enemies. The series’ signature element was also immensely popular, with fans achieving exactly 58,233,600 Leaps of Faith from high synchronization points.

In addition, gamers couldn’t pass by the furry inhabitants and petted 26,001,748 adorable cats.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows takes place in the open world of feudal Japan in 1579. There are two main characters: the agile and stealthy shinobi Naoe and the legendary dark-skinned samurai Yasuke.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows was released on March 20, 2025, on PC (Steam, Ubisoft Connect, EGS), Mac (App Store), PS5, Xbox Series X, and S, and on December 2, it arrived on Nintendo Switch 2. Last summer, the game’s audience exceeded 5 million players.
