The creators of the fantasy shooter Witchfire announced that the game has sold half a million copies, while thanking its audience for its support. On December 12, Witchfire received a major update, The Reckoning.
With the release of Reckoning, several new melee weapons have been added to the game. The protagonist will be able to use a morning star, a buckler, and a katar. Those who prefer eliminating enemies from a distance will appreciate the triple-barreled shotgun.
The Witchfire pre-match lobby now features a fully functional shooting range, where players can summon up to three previously encountered enemies and test their chosen weapon. Unlocking an enemy for summoning in the training room will also unlock their bestiary entry.
Witchfire is on sale on Steam at a 20% discount until December 18th.
