London-based studio ZA/UM, which released the cult detective game Disco Elysium in 2019, has staged a new demo of its psychedelic spy RPG Zero Parades: For Dead Spies in anticipation of its upcoming release.
During the gameplay demonstration, attention was paid to characters and factions, as well as role-playing capabilities that allow the same mission to be developed in completely different directions, depending on the chosen espionage methods.
In Zero Parades, spy Hershel Wilke once gravely failed her squad and now can’t forgive herself for her past failures. One day, the heroine receives a mysterious mission that might allow her to prove herself again.
Finally, the presentation featured a music video for the song “Cover the Moon” by in-game superstar Ultra Violeta, as well as a Twitch extension that will allow players to track character information and vote on dialogue choices.
Zero Parades: For Dead Spies will be available on May 21st for PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store) for $40, and will be coming to PS5 by the end of 2026.
