Archetype Entertainment shared a new gameplay trailer for Exodus (2027). It showed a clip of a battle on a defensive platform orbiting Lydon, the protagonist’s home.
According to the plot, humans have abandoned Earth and are fighting for survival in the Centaurus Cluster against the powerful Celestials. June Aslan, a Wanderer with a blend of human and Celestial DNA, must save humanity.
The new video shows June and two allies fighting their way through the security systems of Khonsu, the Celestials’ defense platform, which is floating in orbit around the hero’s home planet.
In the clip, the developers focused on close-quarters combat, team coordination under high pressure, and certain abilities and weapon modes.
The multi-functional Recycler can take on a variety of forms—the video showed both an assault rifle and a shotgun. The video also gave a sneak peek at an ability that launches explosive spears at enemies.
Exodus will be released in early 2027 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
The first gameplay trailer for Exodus was released last December, and last week, the developers showed off the first full gameplay footage.
