Developers from the British studio Creative Assembly, with support from publisher Sega, unveiled a full trailer for the sequel to the cult horror game Alien: Isolation. The reveal took place during the Summer Game Fest 2026 broadcast in June.
Alien: Isolation 2 follows a female explorer who ventures to explore the wreckage of a mysterious ship on a colonial planet. Little did she know, she was putting herself and her crew in grave danger—the crew is now being pursued by a deadly xenomorph.
The player’s goal in Alien: Isolation 2 is to escape the alien and survive. Moreover, the developers will likely return to the roots of the first game and recreate the moments beloved by fans of the original in the sequel.
Alien: Isolation was released in 2014 and boasted an unprecedentedly detailed stalker monster. It adapted to the player’s tactics, forcing them to constantly experiment, adapting stealth and survival strategies.
Alien: Isolation 2 will be released on PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
