Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is set to release in a few weeks. However, some users have already had the chance to experience the AC IV remake.

Some bloggers and journalists have already published gameplay footage online, and now a full walkthrough of the game’s prologue has appeared on the Chinese video hosting site Bilibili.

The Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced gameplay trailer, published by IGN, is an 8-minute tour of Havana with commentary from lead level designer Jean Strachen.

In the video, protagonist Edward Kenway strolls through a bustling market, engages in “spontaneous interactions,” runs across rooftops, eliminates two targets, engages in open combat, and pets a cat.

According to Strahan, Havana’s layout hasn’t changed compared to the original game, but it has become more detailed. Time of day and weather also significantly affect the city’s appearance.

Users in the comments were pleasantly surprised by the improved Havana, appreciated the gameplay improvements, and are eagerly awaiting the upcoming release. “I haven’t been this excited for a Ubisoft game in a while,” rakzplayz marveled at himself.

You can wishlist Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on Steam. It’s scheduled for release on July 9th on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
