Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core will enter Early Access on PC (Steam) on May 20th. The date was announced at the Future Games Show 2026 in the spring, along with the reveal of a new trailer.

The story revolves around a near-total power outage on the planet Hoxes IV, cutting off countless mines from the outside world. Deep Rock Galactic, a mining company, dispatches an elite squad of dwarves to the site.

Players, as one of five classes (Guardian, Spotter, Falconer, Slicer, Retcon), each with their own unique abilities, must delve deep into the mines, discover the cause of the incident, and ensure the resumption of excavations.

They promise procedural level generation, unprecedented horrors from the deep mines of Hoxes IV, an extensive and branching character development system, and four-player co-op (single-player is also available).

Additionally, the Future Games Show unveiled an expansion for Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor called Heavy Duty. Set for release on April 30th, it promises to include a completely new class (the powerful Demolisher) and two important unannounced features.
