At the launch of Early Access in April 2024, Manor Lords attracted a million players within the first 24 hours. A month later, sales exceeded 2 million copies, and last winter, they reached 3 million.

It has been reported that after two years and four months in Early Access, Manor Lords has surpassed the 4 million copy mark. In a press release accompanying the announcement, Hooded Horse called this an impressive achievement.

The developers announced that they have updated the game interface, added the Wide Valley map, improved artificial intelligence, and introduced several seasonal mechanics.

Some other new features and improvements:

  • Apiaries are now seasonal: harvests accumulate over the spring/summer and are collected in the fall.
  • “Seasonal products” have been introduced: for example, sheep can only be sheared once a year—in the summer. Cows can be milked monthly, but not in the winter.
  • Pasture animals will reproduce depending on the season and herd size.
  • Filters have been added to trading posts, allowing you to control the types of goods they store and import.
  • Players can now make cheese using salt and milk.
  • A new field crop, oats, has been added, which can be processed into animal feed.
  • You can now make mead and apple cider.
