IGN has shared an exclusive gameplay trailer for Terminator 2D: No Fate, the upcoming pixel-art arcade platformer. The trailer shows off Contra-style shooting and a “wall” boss, side-scrolling progression through levels, and an even more terrifying enemy that appears with colorful animation and building destruction.
Terminator 2D: No Fate will expand on the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The game includes both iconic scenes from the famous film and specially created original episodes.
As Sarah Connor and the T-800 Terminator, players will have to fight the liquid metal killer T-1000 to thwart Skynet’s plans to destroy humanity, and as John Connor, lead the Resistance in the future.
Terminator 2D: No Fate will be released on September 5 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, S and Nintendo Switch.
