Nvidia has released the GeForce 582.78 driver for older graphics cards based on the Maxwell, Pascal, and Volta architectures. While these accelerators no longer receive regular Game Ready driver updates, the company continues to release security patches for them.
For desktop systems, driver version 582.78 supports models based on Maxwell (GeForce GTX 745, GTX 750, GTX 750 Ti, as well as the GTX 950–980 Ti series) and Pascal (GeForce GTX 1050–1080 Ti, GT 1030, GT 1010). Support is also provided for the Titan V, Titan Xp, Titan X, and GeForce GTX Titan X models.
Laptop support extends to older products based on the Maxwell and Pascal architectures, including GeForce GTX 900M and GTX 1000 series graphics, as well as a range of MX models—from the MX110 to the MX350.
Vulnerability CVE-2026-47574, classified as “critical” (with a CVSS score of 9.9), affects the Virtual GPU Manager component for vGPU in Linux environments, rather than the consumer GeForce driver for Windows. For GeForce users on Windows, Nvidia specifies updated driver branches, including R615 (version 616.56), R610 (version 610.88), and R580 (version 582.78).
GeForce 582.78 is available for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The installation package size is approximately 913 MB.
