It looks like the recent announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy wasn’t the only surprise from Owlcat Games, as the developers are preparing to unveil another project. This is indicated by a mysterious teaser that suddenly appeared on the studio’s official Twitch channel.
On the previous day, June 2, during a four-hour broadcast on the Twitch service, the developers staged a demonstration of a “mysterious signal” received from space with the interception of someone’s communications. In addition, fans discovered a teaser site for Owlcat Games, which asks the question “What’s next?” and shows a countdown.
Fans are divided in their guesses about the franchise that Owlcat Games’ new project might belong to, but the most common theory is the sci-fi universe of The Expanse.
The unnamed space game will be announced on June 7 as part of the annual Summer Game Fest presentation.
