CDPR Delays Patch 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077

Not long ago, CD Projekt Red officially announced another upcoming patch for Cyberpunk 2077, which this time was definitely supposed to be the last one. The release date was announced for June 26, however, the studio decided to postpone the release of the next update. This was officially reported by representatives of CD Projekt RED. As it became known, Cyberpunk 2077 will not receive update 2.3 on the appointed day. The studio emphasized that it was going to release the patch on June 26, but realized that the team "needed a little more time." A new release date was not announced. According to CDPR, the 2.3 update will be comparable in size and content to the major 2.2 patch for Cyberpunk 2077, which was released in December 2024 and was created in collaboration with Virtuos Studio.&...

The recent 2.2 update for Cyberpunk 2077 brought a bunch of new features and secrets to the game. One of them was an additional quest called “Balatro”. This quest was created thanks to a crossover with the poker roguelike LocalThunk - Balatro, which previously released card sets inspired by the Cyberpunk universe. The mission begins with V receiving a message from a certain Jim B., whose avatar looks like the back of a card from Balatro. The stranger asks the hero to find a group of jokers scattered around Night City. As a reward, players will receive a trophy to decorate their apartment (a holder for cards from Balatro in the style of Cyberpunk 2077) and a themed T-shirt. CD Projekt RED has unveiled a major update 2.2 for Cyberpunk 2077. Last year, the developers announced that they were stopping releasing updates for the game, but this week they unexpectedly announced and have now released a new major update.  Update 2.2 will allow Cyberpunk 2077 players to express themselves "like never before," CD Projekt Red says, with additional customization options, a redesigned photo mode, and more.
