The remastered version of the legendary RPG ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ has officially been released. The game is now available on PC via Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, and Battle.net, as well as on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Owners of the original game—whether they hold physical or digital copies—can upgrade to the remaster for free on their respective platforms.
The release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered was accompanied by an action-packed two-minute overview trailer showcasing the key gameplay and technical features of the updated version.
The remaster features enhanced graphics (lighting, visual effects, textures, and models), a revamped combat system and skill tree, an expanded photo mode, path tracing on PC, cross-platform mod support, and other new additions.
The re-release also includes the story expansions *Hearts of Stone* and *Blood and Wine*—accessible even to owners of the base game. A third expansion, *Songs of the Past*, is expected to launch in 2027.
Ahead of today’s release, ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered’ has already become the highest-rated game of 2026 according to the review aggregator Metacritic. The PC version of the remaster earned a score of 94 out of 100.
