‘Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era’ To Be Available In Early Access This April

Credit: Hooded Horse Developers at Unfrozen Studios announced that Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era will launch in Early Access on Steam and the Microsoft Store on April 30th. The game will also be available via Game Pass from launch. The preview version of the game will provide access to six unique factions and a tutorial mode for newcomers. Initially, only the first act of the story campaign will be available; the developers promise to add the remaining major chapters after release. Players will be able to try out the Classic, Solo Hero, and Arena modes. All three of these rulesets will be available in multiplayer, along with an advanced matchmaking system and a comprehensive leaderboard. Nvidia Adds Shader Precompilation To Its Application

Credit: Nvidia The new version of the Nvidia app now features shader precompilation. This feature is disabled by default and must be manually enabled in the app settings. Typically, when launching a game, you have to wait for all resources to load and shaders to compile before you can start playing. However, with ASC, Nvidia aims to shorten this process by pre-compiling shaders to reduce loading times and, importantly, reduce stuttering that can occur when shaders don't load correctly. The company states that this feature is optional. You can enable it by going to the "Graphics" tab → "Global Settings" → "Shader Cache." According to the plot, humans have abandoned Earth and are fighting for survival in the Centaurus Cluster against the powerful Celestials. June Aslan, a Wanderer with a blend of human and Celestial DNA, must save humanity.
