The full release of the shooter is set for October 23, while owners of the game will gain access to the story campaign a week early, on October 16. The story picks up after the killing of General Shepherd: Task Force 141 is disbanded, its leader John Price is declared a fugitive and goes on the run, and Ghost questions his rogue methods.
