The Cyberpunk 2077 franchise will soon be expanding with a new project. Following the news of a lack of future DLC, it has been revealed that CD Projekt Red’s partners are working on an arcade game, Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush. It will feature combat motorcycle racing in a neon-lit Night City and will be released soon.
The project will offer drift racing along neon-lit tracks in Night City and its environs, trying to overtake and destroy rivals using firearms and hand-to-hand combat.
The announcement of Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush was accompanied by a two-minute gameplay trailer. It promises eight different motorcycles to choose from, seven unique characters, and four challenging tracks.
A prototype of Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush will debut at Amusement Expo International 2026 (held this week in Las Vegas), and the release, according to Arcade Heroes, is expected at the end of April this year.
The Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush bundle consists of two arcade cabinets, each equipped with a motorcycle-shaped controller. The “bikes” are positioned on a movable stand in front of a 65-inch 4K screen.
It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first arcade adaptation of Cyberpunk 2077. In 2025, the on-rails shooter Cyberpunk 2077: Turf Wars, created by LAI Games, was released.
