In its financial report, Take-Two clarified that Civilization VII will be released before the end of March 2025. The company had previously said that the release would take place next year.
Let’s recall that Sid Meier’s Civilization VII was confirmed back in February, and the first teaser and release dates were given at the opening ceremony of the Summer Game Fest 2024 in June – the game is scheduled to premiere in 2025.
The document revealed that Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is being prepared for release as early as Q4 of Take-Two’s 2025 fiscal year, that is, in the first quarter (January to March) of the 2025 calendar year.
The announcement stated that Sid Meier’s Civilization VII was being created for Steam (PC, Mac, Linux), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Switch, but Take-Two’s schedule does not mention the Nintendo console next to the game.
In its financial report released in May, Take-Two wrote that it was important to it to maintain high ratings for its projects on gaming platforms, since this way more new players will notice them.
