Publisher Devolver Digital and the developer of the acrobatic action game My Friend Pedro from the Swedish studio DeadToast Entertainment have presented a new joint project – the precision platformer Shotgun Cop Man.
The platform shooter Shotgun Cop Man is preparing a simple police mission for us: descend into hell and arrest the Devil himself. It is clear that this task is simple in its formulation, but not in its execution: hordes of evil demons are already at the ready, and the path to the finale is strewn with traps. And we have to make precise jumps, simultaneously shooting back at enemies and defeating bosses. For players who find the descent into hell too easy, special modes have been prepared: “No Damage”, “Speedrun” and “All Killed”. The developers are also preparing a level editor, which will enrich the adventures with user campaigns.
Shotgun Cop Man is expected to be released in 2025 for PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch. For those who can’t wait to try the game, there’s good news – a free demo is available on Valve’s service.
