Swedish studio Tarsier released a demo of its terrifying platformer REANIMAL on PC as part of Steam Next Fest. Judging by the demo trailer, players will be able to play the same portion of the game that Tarsier showcased at Gamescom in August.
The events of Reanimal take place on an island that was once home to a boy and girl, who are now trying to escape this nightmare and rescue their missing friends.
The demo offers a chance to experience the first two chapters: learn how the characters met, experience the inhospitable waters near the island, search for the Hood, and survive an encounter with the hideous Sniffer, who kidnapped her.
They promise immersion into a world of mystery and unspeakable horror, the chance to wander through a mill and depot, learn the first fragments of a mysterious story, and experience the signature style of Tarsier Studios’ dual horror films.
Many Steam users liked the Reanimal demo more than Little Nightmares 3. While the latter certainly has more reviews, the negative ones outweigh the positive ones.
