Asus announced the launch of a pair of monitors with dual-layer Tandem OLED panels—one of which is currently the fastest OLED gaming monitor on the market. The Asus ROG Swift PG27QWP-W and ROG Strix XG27AQWMG have virtually identical specifications, but the higher-end ROG Swift boasts refresh rates of up to 540Hz at 1440p resolution, which increases to 720Hz when the resolution is reduced to 720p.

The color here is more of a silvery hue, and secondly, part of the back cover is completely transparent, which is unusual for a monitor. But the most interesting thing, of course, isn’t the appearance.

The monitor is based on a 27-inch OLED panel (LG Tandem) with a 1440p resolution. It supports a refresh rate of 540Hz, but can be boosted to a record-breaking 720Hz, though the resolution will drop to 720p. It also boasts VESA DisplayHDR 500 certification and all the Asus anti-burn-in features and technologies, including a proximity sensor.

The monitor is already on sale in the US and Europe priced at around $1,099 / €1,100.
