Ayaneo Pocket Micro 2 Released: Compact Portable Consolehas 

AYANEO announced the release of its new portable gaming console, the Pocket MICRO 2, aimed at retro gaming and emulator enthusiasts. The device is now available for purchase from the manufacturer’s official online store in the US. Prices start at $239.

The Ayaneo Pocket Micro 2 features a 3.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 960 x 640 pixels and a 3:2 aspect ratio. This format allows for 4x scaling of Game Boy Advance games without image stretching. The display has a density of 330 pixels per inch, 100% sRGB color gamut coverage, and 115% sRGB color volume coverage, including brightness and saturation.

The device measures 162 x 67.8 x 18 mm and weighs approximately 248 g. The Ayaneo Pocket Micro 2 is reinforced with a CNC-machined all-metal frame; it’s available in Midnight Black, Frosty White, and a limited edition Stardust Purple. The updated case features a different grip and a redesigned button layout compared to the previous model.

The most important innovation is the processor: a modified Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip, which is 220% faster than the original Pocket Micro. Active cooling ensures stable performance during long gaming sessions. The battery capacity has increased from 2600 to 3950 mAh, and there’s a USB Type-C port with PD fast charging, a microSD card slot, support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The 8GB + 256GB version will cost users $279. These prices are from the official online store. Retail prices will be $30 higher.
