Developers from Eschatology Entertainment have prepared the first gameplay demo of Guns of Eschaton. The studio’s debut project is a first-person souls-like Western, co-created by the late Viktor Antonov, art director of Halt-Lite 2 and Dishonored.
Guns of Eschaton takes place in the Wild West, plunged into a mystical and spiritual apocalypse known as “The Burn”: reality is crumbling under the onslaught of ancient forces, warring cults, and unimaginable myths.
Players must escape this terrifying world and return home. This can be accomplished in two-player co-op, with full progression in both single-player and co-op modes.
IGN’s gameplay trailer for Guns of Eschaton showcases nearly four minutes of co-op gameplay, including selecting bullets for different enemies, shootouts, and a boss fight.
They promise a personal journey through a universal catastrophe in a world of ashes, blood, and occult horror, more than 20 types of weapons based on real 19th-century models, PvP, and a wide range of playstyles.
Guns of Eschaton is being developed for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
