KING Art is back with a new gameplay trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4. It’s dedicated to the Necrons, who previously received their own CGI trailer.
Following the Orks and Tech-Priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus faction, the Necrons, whose playstyle is based on relentless expansion and gradual conquest of the battlefield, received their own trailer on the specifics of warfare. According to the plot, the immortal legions of Necrons have awakened after 60 million years of slumber to reclaim their once-dominated planet, Kronus, from the “lesser” races engaged in an endless war on its surface.
The Necron forces on Kronus are led by two warlords: the time-bending chronomancer Tothmek and Ahmnok, familiar to fans of the original game, now completely consumed by the desire to destroy all life.
The core of Necron play is the expansion of the power matrix around the mighty Tomb Citadel. Respawning units, indestructible constructs, and ancient technologies that bend space and time are included.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 is expected to release on PC this year.
