CD Projekt Red has quietly added a collection of items inspired by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to Cyberpunk 2077’s latest 2.5 update. The unexpected crossover gives fans of the studio’s fantasy RPG another reason to return to Night City.
Released on October 22, 2026, the update primarily focuses on content connected to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. However, players have discovered several unannounced Witcher-themed additions that were not included in the official patch notes.
What Witcher Items Can Players Find?
The hidden collection includes the Sihil sword, the Ursine Jacket and Pants inspired by the Witcher School of the Bear, and the Boar Carver knife, which resembles the tool Geralt uses to collect monster trophies. Players have also reported additional themed clothing and accessories.
Some items can be obtained through an in-game message from a character named Arianne. After receiving the message about a gift, players should check the container near the entrance to V’s apartment in the H10 megabuilding.
The Professor’s Spectacles have also been linked to the auction sequence in The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone, so not every item necessarily follows the same acquisition method.
A Small Crossover With a Big Appeal
Although the new additions do not introduce a full Witcher questline, they offer a fun connection between CD Projekt Red’s two best-known RPG universes. The studio has previously included references to The Witcher in Cyberpunk 2077, but this update gives players more ways to bring that fantasy-inspired aesthetic into the futuristic streets of Night City.
For fans of both franchises, these hidden rewards are a welcome surprise — and another reason to explore the latest update beyond its officially advertised features.
