Well-known insider Billbil-kun reported that Star Wars Zero Company, a project from Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment, will be released at the end of August this year. Besides the date, the leak also details platforms, system mechanics in the style of the legendary XCOM series, and a competitive pricing policy.

The game takes place at the end of the Clone Wars. Players will take command of a squad of Zero Company mercenaries and undertake a “nearly impossible” mission: neutralizing a threat that could engulf the entire galaxy.

Development is being led by former XCOM series art director Greg Foertsch. The game promises trooper customization, permadeath, meaningful decisions, and one of the largest and most interactive maps in Star Wars history.

The gameplay premiere is expected soon at Summer Game Fest. Star Wars Zero Company will go on sale on August 27, 2026 for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S.
