Publisher Focus Entertainment and developers Saber Interactive (SnowRunner, RoadCraft) announced the release date of their next-generation truck simulator, Road Kings, at the opening ceremony of Gamescom 2026.

As it became known, Road Kings will go on sale only on March 11, 2027, simultaneously for PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X, and S. The announcement was accompanied by a short (30-second) treiler of gameplay.

The action takes place on the roads of the American South, from Jacksonville to historic Savannah. Players will start with a small transport business and gradually grow it into a large company, while facing competition and challenging orders.

Road Kings is based on a realistic truck model: handling is affected by cargo weight, the condition of tires, brakes, and other components, as well as weather and road surface. Drivers will have to take into account traffic regulations, operating hours, and fuel consumption.

In addition to long-distance transportation, the game will offer an asynchronous multiplayer mode. Players will be able to develop transport companies together and compete in global rankings.

The Road Kings developers didn’t explain the reasons for the delay, but they thanked the participants of the closed beta test (which took place in early 2026). Based on their feedback, the team completely redesigned its physics engine.
