The developers have invited European (American) content creators to their Manchester office from October 9th to 11th, where they can play Squadron 42 for three days!
The event will run from October 9th to 11th and will include a studio tour, developer interviews, and the first-ever opportunity for streamers and journalists to try out Squadron 42 in person.
Squadron 42 is scheduled for release in 2026, but Rockstar Games’ open-world crime action game GTA VI may delay its release. CIG CEO Chris Roberts warned this last spring.
The action game will offer seamless transitions between ground, vehicle, and space gameplay, deeply interactive systems, incredible immersion, and a star-studded cast of Hollywood stars.
If Squadron 42 releases this year, the long-running debate over whether Star Citizen is a scam or not could be resolved this year. The success of the single-player campaign will influence the future development of the online project. If the single-player campaign succeeds, new players who still doubt the project or consider it a scam will join Star Citizen.
