The standard edition of the game will cost $80, while the Ultimate Edition will cost $100. Despite player concerns, the base version didn’t receive a $100 price tag, but many are now wondering whether GTA VI will trigger another price hike for all major games.

For pre-ordering, the developers promise to reward all players with the “Welcome Back to Vice City” bundle, which includes a classic 1955 Vapid Stanier sedan with a garage near Ocean Beach, special clothing and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a special weapon pattern.

GTA VI is already being called the biggest entertainment release in history. The game is projected to sell over 45 million copies within a short time of launch. After more than a decade of waiting and a missed console generation, most fans of the series are unlikely to resist the $10 price increase over other modern AAA releases.
