The demo includes the opening section of Zero Parades: For Dead Spies (the first few hours), two main quests, several side stories, and three archetypes for the main character (which dictate stats and abilities). The developers note that the balance and some dialogue options have been adjusted specifically for the demo. The announcement was accompanied by a colorful, cartoonish trailer.  Slay the Spire 2 was slated for an Early Access debut in late 2025, but last fall Mega Crit confirmed the game's delay to March 2026.
