The Switch 2 version was just announced. A demo for Switch 2 is already available. Denshattack! was officially unveiled last summer ahead of Gamescom: Opening Night Live and was scheduled for release in spring 2026 on PC and home consoles. Development of the game will be taken over by one of the series' new directors, Jean Guesdon. He recently took over as creative director of Vantage Studios, which is now responsible for Assassin's Creed. In total, Hawking worked at Ubisoft for nearly 20 years (from 2001 to 2010 and from 2015 to 2026). He was at the helm of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Far Cry 2, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Codename: Hexe.
