HideWorks Studios has released the fourth trailer for its upcoming game, Liminal Point, an atmospheric survival horror game with elements of a psychological thriller.
The events unfold on an abandoned, fog-shrouded island that harbors dark secrets. The protagonist, Lyra, a once-promising rock star, returns to this unsavory place to uncover the mystery of her bandmate Mira’s disappearance.
As Lyra explores the foggy island, she will continually stumble upon mysterious messages, battle terrifying creatures, and relive contentious moments from her past. A chilling original soundtrack and atmospheric sound effects accompany her exploration of crumbling mansions and fog-shrouded streets.
“Discover a multi-layered story of tragedy, memories, and the blurred lines between reality and nightmare as you unravel the mysteries of Lyra’s past and Mira’s role in them. […] A vibrant isometric perspective, detailed environments, and dynamic lighting bring the world of Liminal Point to life,” reads the game’s Steam description.
Liminal Point is scheduled for release on the following platforms: PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A release date has not yet been announced.
