The release of the Silent Hill 2 remake is getting closer. Players are gradually learning about various details about the return of the classic horror in a new format.
The Silent Hill 2 remake is expected to be released on October 8, 2024. New gameplay footage from the upcoming Bloober Team game has recently surfaced online.

This time, almost an hour and a half of gameplay was made publicly available. The lengthy gameplay demonstration of Silent Hill 2 (that’s what the remake is called) took place as part of a live broadcast by a Japanese blogger duo called 2Bro, organized in partnership with Konami. 2Bro’s hour and a half long stream (game starts at 11:53) contains the beginning of the updated Silent Hill 2: the introduction, arriving in Silent Hill, wandering the streets, encountering monsters and solving puzzles.
Pre-orders for PC are available on Steam. For PS5 owners, Silent Hill 2 is available in standard and Deluxe editions on the PS Store for $69.99 and $79.99 respectively.
