Counter-Strike 2 Gets Completely New Train

Another major update has been released for Counter-Strike 2. The main feature is the Train map: Valve has completely reworked the famous map and added rain effects. Train is already available in regular and competitive game modes.

The fan-favorite Eastern European depot has been completely redesigned, both in terms of design and graphics. According to Valve, the map retains many classic elements, but the developers have tried to diversify the gameplay so that Counter-Strike veterans don’t relax.

Valve notes that the new version of Train has become 60% cloudier and 100% rainier – not only the map itself, but also the characters are covered in water. Dataminer Gabe Follower reports that the effect has almost no effect on performance.

In addition, Valve has reworked Overpass and added four new community maps. Basalt and Edin can be tried in casual and competitive modes, while Palais and Whistle can be tried in Wingman mode.
