Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Release Delayed Again

Publisher Paradox Interactive and developers from the British studio The Chinese Room (Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, Still Wakes the Deep) have clarified the release dates for the vampire action RPG Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2. In a 90-minute video message, executive producer Marco Behrmann announced that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will not be completed on time and will be delayed until October 2025.

The release of the second part of Bloodlines has been postponed many times. The game was initially announced on March 22, 2019, and promised to be released in the first quarter of 2020. Then it was postponed to “late 2020.” Then it went to 2021, after which in February 2021 the game was taken away from the Hardsuit Labs studio and handed over to another team.

It was only in September 2023 that Bloodlines 2 came out of hibernation, and it was then scheduled for autumn 2024. Then, in August, there was another postponement, and now – the last one.

According to The Chinese Room, VTM: Bloodlines 2 is currently in the “late stages of development”

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is being developed for PC (Steam, EGS, GOG), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. They promise four clans (Brujah, Ventrue, Banu Hakim, Tremere), graphics on Unreal Engine 5
