Developers TomorrowHead have set a release date for their atmospheric single-player adventure, Will: Follow The Light, about a lighthouse keeper forced to embark on a long journey.
Players take on the role of a man named Will, who is trying to find his way to his loved ones among the harsh northern landscapes and endless waters.
The gameplay focuses on controlling a sailing yacht with a realistic navigation system developed based on the real-life experiences of polar explorers. In addition to sea voyages, the game includes land-based segments, such as dog sledding along snowy trails and lighthouse keeper duties. The gameplay is rich with puzzles based on the use of authentic equipment and weather stations. The visual style and overall atmosphere of the project are inspired by the Alan Wake series, and the narrative explores classic themes of parent-child relationships.
Will: Follow the Light will be released on April 28th on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X, and S. A free demo is available for trial in the Valve Store.
