Heated debates are raging online over the future of the Call of Duty franchise. While players debate the current installments, a new high-profile leak has emerged: artwork purported to be the cover art for the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
As a reminder, Infinity Ward officially confirmed last week that it was developing a “defining” game in the Modern Warfare subseries. Rumor has it this is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
In response to a fake Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 logo circulating on social media, insider billbil-kun revealed the game’s cover art, intentionally blurred. Similarly, in 2024, a tipster leaked key artwork for Black Ops 6.
billbil-kun accompanied his post with the Korean word “사,” which (among other things) stands for the number 4, indirectly confirming last year’s report by former insider TheGhostOfHope.
According to TheGhostOfHope, Modern Warfare 4 will follow the efforts of OTF-141, British special forces, and the South Korean army to prevent the Konni Group and Vladimir Makarov from unleashing World War III.
The announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is expected soon. According to insider Nate the Hate, the game will be the first in the series to be released on Nintendo Switch 2.
