Within two days of its release, the role-playing action game Zenless Zone Zero from the Chinese studio HoYoverse gained 50 million downloads worldwide.
In Zenless Zone Zero, the player takes on the role of the Proxy, a character who helps others explore hostile alternate dimensions called the Hollows. As the Proxy progresses, it will recruit new members to its group while continuing to fight enemies. Besides Proxies, players also use assistants known as Bangbu.
The developers noted that the success of the game was made possible thanks to the anticipation and support of the gaming community.
In a fresh message, representatives of miHoYo thanked the public for their interest in the new product, and also asked to leave feedback and comments through official communication channels. As a thank you for their support, the developers gave gamers 1,600 polychromes (the key in-game currency).
“We will continue to optimize the gameplay in future updates. Simultaneously with the preparation of the official release, we began active work on the cloud version of Zenless Zone Zero. We hope that thanks to this, in the future, even more proxies in different settings will be able to enjoy life in New Eridu,” the authors noted.
The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS and Android platforms.
