Acer to Unveil Nitro Blaze 11 and Blaze 8 Portable Consoles With Large Screens

Acer intends to announce the Nitro Blaze 11 and Blaze 8 portable gaming consoles in the near future. The numbers in the names are supposed to reflect the screen diagonal size, and the new devices will be a continuation of the line that was opened by the Nitro Blaze 7 model.

Judging by the names, Acer is preparing to present portable gaming computers with 8- and 11-inch screens. At the moment, the company’s assortment includes only one portable console, the Nitro Blaze 7, which runs on the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U hybrid chip of the Hawk Point generation. The new devices will be based on AMD Ryzen AI 300 APU series processors – upgrading the devices to the new Strix Point series on the Zen 5 microarchitecture definitely makes sense.

Given the trends, the key success factor for the Nitro Blaze 11 and Blaze 8 could be the price. At the same time, the performance of the new devices is also important, especially against the backdrop of competition from the expected Lenovo Legion Go and the updated MSI Claw series. Additional information on the capabilities and specifications of the new devices may appear after the AMD press conference.
