Mobile Zenless Zone Zero Brought Its Creators Around $100 Million

The mobile version of the free-to-play action RPG Zenless Zone Zero from the creators of Genshin Impact has already brought the developers from the HoYoverse studio about $100 million in profit.

The new product from the creators of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail has brought its creators almost $100 million in less than a month (the game was released on July 4). This is more than the other two HoYoverse games combined: Genshin and HSR have dropped significantly in the rankings for a number of reasons, although they still remain at the top.

Only the romantic Love and Deepspace was able to push games from the market leader aside. Another new summer release, Wuthering Waves, was unable to stay in the top 5, giving way to a gacha based on the anime Dragon Ball.

Recently, the creators of Zenless Zone Zero talked about the upcoming update 1.1., where users will find new story elements, events, additional rewards and new gameplay of the Zero Cave.
