Rumors about a potential new Blizzard project have recently been revived. The reason for this was one of the job postings. Users have noticed that a design director is needed to work on an open-world shooter. “As a Design Innovation Director, you’ll be the visionary and architect of key strategic innovations for an upcoming open-world shooter,” the job description reads. It's unclear what exactly Blizzard is working on, but Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier recently reported that a new StarCraft-based shooter is in the incubation (i.e. very early) stage at the company.
