‘Final Fantasy 7 Revelation’ To Be Released On April 8

Credit: Square Enix At the September State of Play, the release date for Final Fantasy VII Revelation was announced. The game will be released on April 8, 2027 (on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch 2), as announced in a new trailer. It also showcases new story and gameplay footage, but the developers revealed even more details in a separate video. The demo included a look at new movement and combat abilities, free switching between active characters, the loyal chocobo Pico (which levels up along with the heroes), and a prototype class system. According to the story, as Sephiroth approaches godhood, Cloud Strife and his companions attempt to stop Meteor, the ultimate destructive spell. Steam Deck Now Supports Over 30,000 Games From The Steam Library

Credit: steamdeck.com Valve has rated 8,939 games as "Fully Compatible" and another 21,067 as "Playable," for a total of 30,006 Steam Deck titles. Separately, 31,265 games are marked as SteamOS compatible, while 6,848 are marked as "Not Supported." ProtonDB also tracks other interesting metrics, one of which is the percentage of playable and verified games on Steam Deck that are currently trending. According to these metrics, 40% of the top 10 Steam games by concurrent players are verified or playable, and that figure rises to 46% of the top 100 games by player count. SteamOS is a separate platform, with 31,265 games rated "SteamOS Compatible." These numbers include games no longer available for purchase; those who previously purchased them can still download and play them.

‘The Long Dark’ To Receive New DLC

Blackfrost gameplay is planned to be revealed before the end of the year, after which the community will be actively updated on the title's status. The studio is currently receiving offers from various publishers and is considering them, but has not yet found a suitable partner. Valve Accidentally Leaked 12 TB Of Steam Data

Credit: Valve Data miners Gabe Follower and Scolcer discovered 12 TB of internal Steam archives from 2003 to 2013 on an open Valve server. The leaked data includes early builds of Portal 2, CS:GO, Left 4 Dead, and materials from the canceled F-Stop project. The leak turned out to be the result not of a hack, but of a Valve error. The archive was discovered on a public access point connected to Steam2, an outdated system for delivering and storing game content. Valve used Steam2 from 2003 to 2013, so the leak is limited to that period.
