Zotac Shows Prototype of Portable Game Console Zone Gaming Powered by AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Chip

ZOTAC brought a prototype of the updated Zone Gaming console to CES 2025, which differs from the model available on the market with a new central processor.

The developers have significantly updated the hardware of their gaming console. The AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor (12 cores, 24 threads) based on the Zen 5 architecture is responsible for the performance of Zone Gaming. The chip is manufactured using the 4 nm process technology, has 24 MB of L3 cache memory and 1 MB of L2 cache memory per core. In addition, there is Radeon 890M graphics on the RDNA 3.5 architecture with 16 computing units.

The console retains a 7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, uses Hall-effect sensor-based joysticks, and is powered by a 48.5Wh battery.

The device is equipped with 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 chip has a standard TDP of 28W, with the ability to configure it in the range of 15W to 54W, which gives Zotac developers some room for optimization. In addition, the chip is equipped with an NPU, which provides performance of up to 50 TOPS.

So far, ZOTAC hasn’t said anything about the release date or suggested retail price.
