After almost two years, Bungie is finally ready to show gameplay footage of the upcoming game Marathon.
Last week, closed screenings of the shooter took place, which bloggers and journalists were able to try out. This week, it looks like impressions from those who played it will appear, as well as the debut gameplay.
Bungie is pitching Marathon as its take on extraction shooters, casting players as cybernetic mercenaries dubbed Runners who must explore a deserted colony on Tau Ceti IV.
Selected bloggers and journalists from foreign publications have already had the opportunity to personally try out the preliminary version of Marathon and will share their impressions after the presentation.
Marathon doesn’t even have an estimated release date at the moment, but it’s expected to be released in late 2025. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, although the studio is owned by Sony.
