Sci-fi Shooter Metal Eden Delayed Until Summer

The sci-fi first-person shooter Metal Eden was scheduled to be released on May 6, but the development team announced a delay in the release and also revealed a new period in which we will be able to play it: summer 2025. Unfortunately, there is no exact date.

The delay is due to the developers’ desire to take into account user feedback about the demo version of the game, which was released on April 8.

According to the creators of Metal Eden, they have already identified areas for improvement and will spend additional time polishing the game and ensuring it delivers the experience the team is hoping for.

“We know delays aren’t ideal, but we really appreciate your patience. We’ll share a new release date as soon as we can – and we’re confident the game will be worth the wait,” Deep Silver and Reikon Games said.

Metal Eden is being developed for PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. They promise adrenaline-fueled cybernetic battles, harsh landscapes of an orbital city and the planet Vulcan beneath it, a wide arsenal, upgradeable abilities and translation into Russian.
