Legion Studios, a studio made up of former DOOM, Apex Legends, Destiny, Call of Duty and Halo developers, has released a new trailer for its souls-like project Covenant.
The new Covenant trailer, unveiled at the Galaxies reveal, showcases majestic locations, powerful bosses, and gameplay footage featuring a variety of weapons.
The events of Covenant will take place in the mythical world of Creation, where the Composers send their last heavenly messenger on the trail of the angel Malakh, who could not resist the abyss. Players in the role of a warrior angel will have to master close combat, secret magic and ancient weapons. Each gun can be taken in one or both hands (as seen in Soulslike games), which will affect its characteristics and available functions.
Covenant has been officially announced for PC only and will be available in the Steam digital store. The authors have not yet revealed the exact release date, but they confirm that the project is in active development.
