Nvidia Releases GeForce Driver With “Doom: The Dark Ages” Support

New NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver 576.40 WHQL is now available for Windows 11 and Windows 10. The update delivers optimal performance in DOOM: The Dark Ages and New World: Aeternum by integrating DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation.

The new driver also includes the latest DLSS Override models for 15 new games. These settings improve performance and image quality. The list includes the following games: Bodycam, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Commandos Origins, Lost Skies, Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Necrophosis, New World: Aeternum, No More Room in Hell 2, RuneScape: Dragonwilds, Spirit of the North 2, Steel Seed, Tempest Rising, The Talos Principle: Reawakened and Warframe. The new software also adds support for G-Sync-compatible monitors. You can see a list of them in the table below.

The driver improves stability in Monster Hunter Wilds; on GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards, it eliminates shadow flickering in Dead Space Remake, minor color oversaturation in games when the game resolution is lower than the monitor’s native resolution, black screens on ASUS ROG PG32UQXR, PG248QP, PG32UCDM monitors; stuttering on some LG TVs with G-SYNC enabled when the refresh rate drops to a certain level.
