Owlcat Games has piqued the interest of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader fans by releasing a cryptic teaser ahead of the Warhammer Skulls 2025 reveal. The image features the Latin numeral III and a mysterious message: “Do you hear it? Whispers of the Warp… They are coming.”
American blogger Jesse Babcock, better known as Mortismal Gaming, reported in a recent video that he had received a mysterious package from Owlcat Games with a hint at an upcoming announcement. The transmission included a puzzle with the battle cries of the Night Lords Space Marines engraved on it, as well as a message from them:
“From the shadows we watch your futile struggle.
We are closer than you think, and our knives are ready.
The children of the sunless world follow you.
Hail, Lord of the Night”
If the hint is indeed related to the new DLC, there is a chance that the third add-on will be released separately or it will pave the way for the second season pass. All the details may be revealed very soon – the Warhammer Skulls 2025 broadcast starts on May 22.
