Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has officially confirmed work on new installments of the company’s most acclaimed series. Two promising projects in the Far Cry universe are in development, along with several Assassin’s Creed games, including both single-player adventures and multiplayer titles.

Regarding Assassin’s Creed, Ubisoft is currently actively working on several games within the series, including both single-player and multiplayer titles.

According to Henderson, three of these Assassin’s Creed projects are firmly locked into Ubisoft’s roadmap. These include:

a multiplayer arcade game (codenamed Invictus), expected for release in 2026;

a remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (Obsidian), also reportedly scheduled for 2026;

an open-world action RPG, Codename: Hexe (Neo), recently scheduled for release in 2027.

At the same time, Ubisoft’s internal reorganization led to the cancellation of two mobile projects set in the Assassin’s Creed universe: Rebellion and Singularity.

As part of this transformation, the company closed two studios and halted development on six games, including the remastered version of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. The production process is now centered around a system of five creative houses.
