California-based Interabang Entertainment, with support from publishers Atari and Digital Eclipse, announced the release date for the old-school co-op action game Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch.
It turns out the release is closer than ever. Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch will be released on April 20, 2026, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, S, and Nintendo Switch.
The story follows Jay and Silent Bob as they journey to a strange shopping mall to defeat the evil that has taken up residence there. Over time, they will gain the guises of Puff and Chronic, superheroes from a comic book based on Jay and Bob. In addition to this duo, we’ll also be able to play as other characters from the Kevin Smith universe, including Dante Hicks and Randall Graves from Clerks.
The game is designed for one or two players. As protagonists, they battle hilarious enemies and rack up combos. A curious feature of the combat is verbal insults, which can be used to humiliate enemies and inflict mental damage.
