Paralives, a Sims-style life simulator, has entered early access. The game was developed by a small team of developers led by designer Alex Masse. The studio raised funds for its creation through crowdfunding on Patreon.

As it turns out, Paralives’ total worldwide sales exceeded 250,000 copies in less than 24 hours after its debut. The announcement was accompanied by a themed illustration with a message from the developers.

“Thank you so much for participating in Early Access and helping shape the game! We couldn’t have done it without your support! We look forward to the future together [with the community]!” the announcement read.

At its early access launch, Paralives features construction mechanics, a character editor, and an open world where players can find jobs, develop relationships, and improve their skills. The game supports eight languages.

Paralives is planned to remain in Early Access for about two years, during which time the simulator will add seasonal changes, new locations, and additional customization options for your character and home.
